I protect my creative fire by sequestering, when I create. I shut out any other influences of anything around me. I do not seek references. I do not seek to hear anything or anyone other than my myself, my thoughts, my visions, my words, my sounds. It is my spirit that has to come forward.
I need quiet so that I can hear what my spirit says to me. And that serves me well because originality is still the ruler.
